What's the difference between a story and a highlight?
A story disappears after 24 hours. A highlight is a set of old stories the owner chose to keep on their profile, and it stays until they remove it.
Does watching a highlight show up anywhere?
No. Highlights opened here are fetched by our server, so your name isn't attached to the view.
Do I need an Instagram account?
No. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to connect. Type a username and the results load on this page.
Can I see a private account?
No. We only show what Instagram already shows to anyone who opens a public profile without logging in. If an account is private, you'll see a note saying so and nothing else.
Why does a highlight show fewer items than on Instagram?
Highlight contents are cached for up to a day. If the owner just added something, it will turn up on a later visit.
